94 ES 300 Cabin filter
Has ANYONE ever replaced the cabin ACC filter on a 94 ES300? It does NOT say where it is in the owners manual as some have suggested. I can't find it! Thanks to all

A quick search would have revealed this issue. Its kinda hard to get to. Its near the gas pedal on that right wall kinda toward the back. It is actually behind a plastic piece that is about 4 inches tall by about 1 inch wide. The filter just slides in and out. When I recently looked for mine, which did have one, I had to pull back the carpet so that it tucked underneath the gas pedal. DO NOT forget about looking for a 4x1 piece of plastic that you just clip off/on.

P.S. I even went to their parts dept. and they didn't have any listing for this type of filter for a '94ES.

Actually, the parts guy showed me the parts book for the '94ES......and NOTHING was listed for an AC cabin filter.
Maybe I'm not explaining myself too clearly. LOL

It is avalible on ALL Camry/Vista/ES/Windom models from a gen3 camry (1992) and up.
It was an un-advertized dealer only option, and unless a customer requested it, they were not installed.
It is also possible to fit a filter onto the in-cabin blower fan itself (it's in cabin intake). This is located behind the glovebox.

When I ordered this car in 1994, I especially asked about a filter for the climate control, and I was told they were unavailable.
In fact, back in '94, cabin filters were unheard of in 95% of automobiles.

I don't know the part numbers off-hand, but you're just talking to the wrong people...
They've been selling it since at least 1992 (rumor than gen2 camries had the space for it as well).
It's a hepa filter, and about $70. You'll never find it for under $40.

Those pictures show the blower motor resistor!!!!!!! I've been looking for it for ages! Now I can order a replacement and I know where to find the old one to remove & install the new one!!! The blower motor resistor is the black thing with wires / plug running into it just to the left of the cabin filter slot....
A hidden gem in an old & dusty thread!!
