Has ANYONE ever replaced the cabin ACC filter on a 94 ES300? It does NOT say where it is in the owners manual as some have suggested. I can't find it! Thanks to all
A quick search would have revealed this issue. Its kinda hard to get to. Its near the gas pedal on that right wall kinda toward the back. It is actually behind a plastic piece that is about 4 inches tall by about 1 inch wide. The filter just slides in and out. When I recently looked for mine, which did have one, I had to pull back the carpet so that it tucked underneath the gas pedal. DO NOT forget about looking for a 4x1 piece of plastic that you just clip off/on.
yes that should have a cabin filter i have one for my 96. I should say i have the space for one. my car never shipped with it!? crazy bastards!
Very strange?? I was told by my Lexus dealers service dept. on countless occasions, from the Spring of 1994 when I purchased this '94 ES that it had NO AC cabin filter. Sure, in newer models they included filters.
P.S. I even went to their parts dept. and they didn't have any listing for this type of filter for a '94ES.
Actually, the parts guy showed me the parts book for the '94ES......and NOTHING was listed for an AC cabin filter.
Maybe I'm not explaining myself too clearly. LOL
I don't know the part numbers off-hand, but you're just talking to the wrong people...
They've been selling it since at least 1992 (rumor than gen2 camries had the space for it as well).
It's a hepa filter, and about $70. You'll never find it for under $40.
Thanks to all-Yes the 94 ES 300 had a place for two filters (upper and lower) just as the pix show-but nothing was installed!!! Guess it WAS anoption!! Picked one up at a local auto parts store for25.00!! Much better now!!!
Those pictures show the blower motor resistor!!!!!!! I've been looking for it for ages! Now I can order a replacement and I know where to find the old one to remove & install the new one!!! The blower motor resistor is the black thing with wires / plug running into it just to the left of the cabin filter slot....
