Default Prices Paid and Dealer Offers

I went to Longo and got $1,000 off MSRP for a base GS300. What sort of prices has everyone else been getting?

$1K off sounds pretty good. We paid full MSRP to get it before official launch date.

Yah..thats what uiv been getting on a brand new gs3 as well. They tell u all that bullshyt about "oh its sellign for sticker and not a penny less...we cant keep them on the lot as ppl are paying sticker and so theres no penny discount, as its the hottest car in the market,"( on the fone )yada yada bla bla bla..(and im sure its true)...when i physically came to them and said i wanted to do something serious, they said they could knock off a thousand bucks...and on a demo model - whichever one they had, theyd knock off more than that...in fact they said make a reasonable offer and if it makes sense, then we will do a deal. I told them 41,000K for a GS3 RWD with everythign except rear spoiler, ML, NAV, and PCS. This was a demo with 500 miles on it. (Sticker was $45,679). They said about 43K, so I told them ill think it over.

But it is possible to get a discount and will only get better in terms of discounts further along. The key is simple. If you call them and ask fror any discounts - they wont tell u anythgin else besides "no its sellign for sticker , and ppl are paying msrp..theres no discount". When you are ready to buy the vehicle and want it seriously, go in and they WILL work with you starting from $1000 discount off of sticker on a NEW car. And more if its a demo, and off course more if its a returned or preowned (as iv come across those too at a few places)

I don't know how much we got off our new 06' GS430, but I know we got a very good deal cuz we only paid $54K fully loaded with camera and GPS w/ the Mark Levinson premium sound system.

Kyosuke86-How can you make a statement like that?

"I don't know what we got off, but we paid..."

Didn't you get a window sticker?

Did you really buy it for what you think you did?

GS3rdwow-I am not sure if I understand, did you buy one?

No..i just wanted to show an example that it is possible to get a price brak as long as you physically go in and make a reasonable offer and walk off the table. They will try and work with you to sell the vehicle.

All i know is that my father asked a friend of ours if he could get the price equal to the M45, so our friend did us a huge favor and gave us a fully loaded model for $54,000. Now I could guess that it was about 60,000, but I don't like to guess. if you would like I could check and tell you how much we got it for, would that make you happy?

Kyosuke86-I just feel this thread statred out with false claims. $1000-$6000 off a new vehicle.

Your dad must be really close to this friend. I would have to guess the allocation for Hawaii is very limited to even get one, let a alone a discount, when Longo (The largest dealership) is not.

The offer I received about $1000 off isticker is not a false claim. Even if you go on carsdirect, you can see that the selling price is over $1000 off sticker.

This sales person is the best and we have bought several lexus' before. My mother, my aunty, and my grandfather all had 92' LS400s and my father's other lexus was a 94' SC400, so as you can see we are all lexus enthusiasts. My mother now has the RX330 and my aunty has the ES330 and now my father has his GS430. Believe it o not we have always had Lexus' and now I'm the newest to Lexus, I have the ES330. Not only that but all of those cars we bought were through our sales person, Roy.
