2013 Lexus RX Leaked!

leaked_rx_Front_edit.jpgLeaks from the Lexus mother-ship have revealed the 2013 RX in it's full glory. The photo's were snagged from a brochure detailing options and prices for the Japanese market. Lexus have not given any word on the official specs for the US model. What we do know is that the face-lifted RX is quite the looker.

The new fascia isn't the only change coming to the RX series. The brochure also reveals that the RX will be getting a new F Sport variant for the RX 350 and RX 450h. It'll have bigger wheels, tinted lights, sport-steering, and a big honeycomb grill. Lexus isn't likely to leave this new model alone, so expect to hear some news about their super successful CUV in the near future.

Richard Chow Young (Tue, 14 Feb 2012 16:29:21 -0800): Sweet. I wonder if the non hybrid will look much different at the front (no opening in lower bumper for example?)
Jay Seuss (Fri, 17 Feb 2012 19:37:46 -0800): I'm looking at the new RX to replace my 2007. I had a 2012 loaner and liked it except for the navigation. I was expecting more out of it. Probably will wait until the 2013 comes out.
Wilson Chan (Mon, 20 Feb 2012 09:58:23 -0800): I would like to see them on the road in person.... but it sure looks sexy from these pictures....
Barry Clarke (Tue, 21 Feb 2012 15:07:29 -0800): I just bought a 2012 RX450H AWD and just turn 400 miles with 28.6 mpg for the first tank of gas. The 2013 makes me want to trade her in..........
Bob Carl (Tue, 21 Feb 2012 16:03:55 -0800): I really like the new fascia. But, I wonder if they are going upgrade the audio interface and re-design the console so it doesn't encroach on the driver's right leg/knee room? The latter was a step backward from the previous generation. Ride quality arguably suffered as well with the latest generation.
Irwin Jay Gold (Tue, 21 Feb 2012 19:44:17 -0800): They still need to move back down a size notch by losing some bulk... maybe offer a scaled-down, sport handling "RX300" size. What an idea!
(Sat, 28 Apr 2012 06:27:46 -0700): that means an updated venza won't be far behind. good news for shallow wallets.
