Replacement SC? The LF-LC Going To Production!

Byron Pope of WardsAuto recently had a one to one encounter with Lexus Marketing’s top gun, Brian Smith at the 2014 Lexus IS launch in Austin, TX. Mr. Smith revealed to Wards in an exclusive interview that the LF-LC Concept was never meant to become an production car, but with the unexpected interest of this hybrid luxury coupé, Lexus has decided to give LF-LC the green light.

The sexy CALTY designed LF-LC was conceived in-house at their Newport Beach studio, the same location where the first Lexus SC came from. We hope once the LF-LC comes out, it comes as close to the concept vehicle we first previewed in Detroit last year. Since the 2nd Generation SC ceased in 2010, Lexus has been without a midsize or large luxury coupe.
