1,000-Horsepower Lexus GS 300 Hits the Street

1,000-Horsepower Lexus GS 300

There are a lot of cars you can mod to 1,000 horsepower, and when you do, you're in for a wild and crazy adventure. Modifying a second-gen GS 300 to that level of performance, however, is a bit of a different experience. As smooth as the S160 GS is, 1,000 horsepower doesn't feel as maniacal, but it is just as fun because of the effortlessness it takes to blow 800-horsepower Supras and 600-horsepower Mustangs clear into the weeds.

Check out the video below to see this Lexus dominate the streets without breaking a sweat.

Joseph N Stephanie Petteys (Tue, 31 Dec 2013 15:29:33 -0800): as long as you got the money, the know how and a little imagination you can build anything out of anything. But it always helps when you have a 2jz motor to work with.
Christopher Hole (Tue, 31 Dec 2013 15:50:38 -0800): i have a 03 GS ~ How much did all that cost?
(Tue, 31 Dec 2013 16:43:17 -0800): Does every performance car video automatically come complete with its own dorky soundtrack?
Joanna Ellis Casella Donnelly (Tue, 31 Dec 2013 17:16:41 -0800): Would love to do this to my Lexus :0)
Thomas Van Hoesen (Wed, 01 Jan 2014 04:14:47 -0800): ?Unless I'm blind the 800hp Supra on pass #2 won..... My Supra hardtop weighs about 700 + lbs less than that tank. Cool car but weight is an issue when the hp is the same or even close.
Lauren Talia (Wed, 01 Jan 2014 10:59:37 -0800): Who modified this GS 1000 HP? Contact me.
NickFelix Inca (Wed, 01 Jan 2014 17:55:01 -0800): 2jzgte does it again.
Thomas Van Hoesen (Thu, 02 Jan 2014 05:15:42 -0800): Benjamin Jerome Smith : he said it weighed 4008lbs in his video. My car isn't stock it weighs 3323lbs......whatever 1000hp 2JZ is not any accomplishment. Guys were making 1200-1500whp 10 yrs ago. Nevermind on spray- BTW I respect the guy and his car. Weight is an issue and he did roll-ons......not dead stop racing. So length means zip.
Pat Patter (Fri, 03 Jan 2014 09:21:37 -0800): I will take a donation
