2013 Lexus ES Teased Before NY Auto Show
This new shot of the ES doesn’t really surprise us since the cat was already let out of the bag in China. The car will make it’s official, debut at the New York International Auto Show where journalists will all pretend to be surprised by the new look.
We are still looking forward to the final specifications and trim levels though. It’ll likely get the huge, 12-inch screen from the 2013 GS. No doubt the stalwart 3.5L V6 that’s powered just about everything Toyota builds since about 2005 will be under the bonnet as well. Worth considering is the possibility of a hybrid model as well. Considering Lexus has already filed away the ES300h trademark, it’s pretty much a guarantee.

All-New Lexus ES Luxury Sedan to Make World Debut at 2012 New York International Auto Show
TORRANCE, Calif., March 28, 2012 – Lexus will reveal the all-new ES luxury sedan on Wednesday, April 4th, in conjunction with the New York International Auto Show.
The sixth-generation ES model introduces a progressive new design featuring the Lexus signature spindle grille and a new dynamic driving experience.
The Lexus press conference will take place on Wednesday, April 4th at 11:20 a.m. EDT at the New York International Auto Show. It will be on display in the Lexus exhibit from April 6-15, 2012.
