Ultra Luxurious

The debut of the all-new Lexus LX 600 brought forth quite a few notable changes for the full-size SUV, ranging from styling to powertrains to tech features. However, one particularly notable update is the addition of the new Ultra Luxury trim, which is precisely what it sounds like. The Lexus LX 600 Ultra Luxury takes direct aim at rivals offering a vehicle that's designed for someone else to drive you around in it - not drive it yourself - and as one might imagine, that means there are lots of cool features present that some may not be aware of.

Fewer Seats, More Comfort

Notably, when customers opt for the Ultra Luxury, they're giving up passenger space in favor of, well, luxury. There is no third row here, and just two second-row seats, but those seats are something special. For an extra cost of $24,625, the Ultra Luxury pampers with semi-aniline leather and diamond-stitched seats that are curved specifically to coddle you and absorb unwanted movement. And, when you want to relax, these seats also recline by 48 degrees and even prop your feet up thanks to a footrest present on the back side of the front seats.

One Useful Screen

Then there's the giant center console placed in between these two seats, which features a large screen that controls pretty much everything one might want to control. That includes the aforementioned seats, of course, but also massaging functions, climate control, and much, much more. There's also a wireless phone charger in the center console, charge points, and a large storage bin, which holds headphones for the entertainment system.

Rear Entertainment Screens

Those headphones come in handy when one wants to enjoy some TV shows or movies on the pair of 11.4-inch touchscreens mounted to the top of the front seats, which also happen to rotate with the rear seats to present a perfect view from any angle. Along with streaming content and video games, one can also utilize the built-in AT&T WiFi hotspot with 3G and 4G compatibility to access all kinds of things.

Keep Cool

As one would imagine, there are plenty of nifty touches to be found back here as well - things like sun shades, a 120-volt house-style outlet, and even a refrigerated "cool box" that's located underneath the front center console armrest. If that isn't cool enough, this place to keep one's beverages cold can even be accessed by those in the front or back thanks to its double articulation design.

Business Class Features

The LX 600 gets air vents in the back of the center console and near the grab handles in the back, but the Ultra Luxury adds two more - one above each seat - that are quite similar to the air vents one would find on an airplane, save for the fact that they utilize metal construction rather than plastic.
