Affordable Alternative

Though it was arguably a bit underappreciated for a number of years, the Lexus LFA has since become a hot entity on the collector car market, and for good reason - it's one of the very last naturally-aspirated, high-revving V10 supercars ever built. However, not everyone has the means to dish out hundreds of thousands - or even millions - for a real LFA, which makes this Lego version a rather cool and affordable alternative.

Just an Idea

The only problem, it seems, is this Lego LFA isn't currently available to purchase from that particular company - rather, it's a fan-created model that they've submitted to the "Ideas" page, which is precisely where regular old folks like us can put our bricked creations up for consideration in that regard.

Filling a Hole

As the creator points out, Lego doesn't have a Lexus model in its Speed Champions series, and this aims to fill that hole. According to them, this model is the same size as standard vehicles in the Speed Champions lineup, too - 8 studs wide and 20 studs long.

Making a Case

The model would be accompanied by a Lego version of Lexus pro racer Jack Hawksworth, and could also accommodate two mini-figures for those that want to live out their LFA racing dreams. It's a cool, green, and black tribute to a car that is already iconic, which makes it the perfect choice for a real production version, too.

Big Interest

Thus far, this Lego LFA has drummed up some serious attention at the Ideas site and has garnered a total of 392 supporters thus far, along with quite a few comments. As such, Lego gave the listing a boost and extended it to one year, by which point it needs to have 1,000 supporters to move on.

Needs Support

So far, it seems as if this Lego LFA has a solid chance of one day becoming an actual kit that one can purchase, but it still needs more support to get there. So if you want to see it become a reality, head over here and give it a virtual thumbs up!
