Amazing 1,100 Mile LFA Headed to Auction

Stunning Example

To us, any and every Lexus LFA is special. But while we wouldn't be able to resist racking up some miles on the car's epic naturally-aspirated 4.8-liter V10, there are a few examples out there with barely any miles on the clock. That includes this stunning Obsidian Pearl example that's set to cross the block at Barrett-Jackson's upcoming Fall auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Pampered Life

This particular LFA is number 425 of 500, and one of just 178 cars allocated and sold in the United States. As one might imagine, it's spent most of its life living in a climate-controlled garage and has obviously never seen a flake of snow or even a drop of rain.

Flawless Cabin

The interior is a matching/contrasting mix of black and Camel Yellow leather, with Camel yellow stitching here and there. Judging by the condition of the cabin, you'd be forgiven for thinking that no one had ever even sat in here, let alone driven the car 1,100 miles.

Eye Test

According to the seller, this car was purchased from a Lexus dealer and is a one-owner example with all of the original documents intact. And they say it's been meticulously maintained, but our eyes are enough to tell us that without any sort of documentation to prove it.

Mint Condition

It goes without saying that the engine bay is flawless as well. In fact, while words like mint are thrown around a lot in the car world these days, this car is more than deserving of that description, as it's truly amazing to soak in, visually speaking.

Thus, we imagine this car will command a pretty penny at auction, though it's being sold with no reserve. Prices for LFAs are all over the map, however, ranging from a few hundred grand up to a million in some cases, so we'll be interested to see just what this one hammers for.
