Photo just before re-installing my intake pentium. Note the slotted bracket which allowed me to partially install the PITA bolt. I also realized that the UK mechanics must have removed all of the fasteners to that middle silver bracket to to the spark plug installation without removing the intake. However access is still tight and I do not recommend this until you have the skill. After I removed the PITA bolt, it only took me about 20 to 30 minutes to remove the intake.
