Update from May, after having this for six months I’ve had to do a plethora of maintenance on it. Between my brother and I we’ve probably put 3k-4k total into it and there’s still more work to be done. As of now, we’ve replaced the whole front suspension, the rack and pinion, 4 of the rear differential bushings, the radiator and hose, the distributor shafts, propeller shaft and engine and transmission mounts. Next we’re servicing the transmission and engine.

We’ve got new VVT solenoids, new transmission solenoids, new rotors and brake pads, serpentine belt, spark plugs, transmission filter and gasket, rear shocks, CV axle, o2 sensors, fuel filter, MAF sensor, PCV valve, oil pan gasket all that need to be installed. We’re planning on draining the transmission fluid and putting new fluid in.

As of now, the problems I’m having are low gas mileage, the rear of the car making a noise as I go over bumps and in a cold start The car will slowly move forward even when I press on the gas, then after a few seconds it’ll start pushing forward normally.
This car has been the death of my brother and I but we’re getting it back in shape. Hopefully within the next 2 years it’ll look completely different but only time will tell.
