remove two clips, 3 slide clips and the connector to the light. There are three other slide type cups that are near the weather strip but they just slide back when you bull back on the liner

remove both rubber bumpers so you can connect the other end. They just snap into the nipple. No need to pry the clip open.

with out removing the number you will have a real hard time compressing the lift support.

Remove rubber bumpers from both sides. It gives you the needed room to snap the lift on. Without taking the bummer off you will need to compress the lift. Good luck with that.
