Pics of the console before and after being wrapped in black suede. Believe it or not the piece in the middle is cut that way for a reason to ensure the ability to mount/remove the unit as well as give the illusion that it's "floating" once in place :D The cutout/channel in the back of the unit is to route the wire through. I made the block the exact size of the ashtray's holder to ensure when the unit was in place it wouldn't be loose or rattling around in there.
