The original.right rear LS400 bracket remains in place until.the author can sort out how best to mount the LS430.bracket. also with a rubber ball that sockets into a spring clip in cover.

LS430 cover installed on L400. I liked the fact that the LS430 design actually allows airflow underneath, with improved sound barrier , absorbing and damping.
