You think too much man............Your GS OEM front calipers are regular two-piston calipers and they are actually pretty small. The only Lexus model that has big calipers(4-piston) is 95+ LS400. There is no worry for caliper clearence on your GS.

Yes...you guyz are correct. I got confirmation today that it will 100% clear.

btw - for 5x114.3 bolt pattern....+35mm (front) and +40/+45mm (rear) are the only options.

Im going +35/+45mm.

Thanks!

Pretty sharp!

For the GS, I would definitely use the +35 on the 19x8.5 (sounds like it's your only choice)
and, if it were my car, 19x9.5 +40 rear.

The 19x9.5 +45 is a bit more 'tucked-in" when compared with the +40.
The numbers work out as such:

19x8.5 +35 3.37" frontspacing/6.13" backspacing

19x9.5 +45 3.48" frontspacing/7.02" backspacing
*basically, the rear wheels will sit .11" (2.8mm) more outboard then the front 8.5 +35. For me, that's not enough to qualify as a true staggered look.

The +40 sits more outboard:
19x9.5 +40 3.68" frontspacing/6.82" backspacing
*this set-up, the rear wheels sit .31" (7.88mm) more outboard than the 8.5 +35

This is just an FYI, a public service announcement (as it were). "Kindly govern yourselves accordingly!"

UMMMMMMMMMM....I kinda speechless with ALL these numbers being thrown around.

Yes...i agree that the rear should be +40mm, but Axis is saying it comes in +45mm for the 19x9.5 in 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

Do you recommend a 5mm spacer for the rear?

Ted -

You can be the first with this wheel in chrome. I'm pretty sure Axis can chrome it for ya for a few extra bills. Go for it!!

Its definately on my radar.

I have a few choices for wheels and tires (sponsorships) that I'm working on and should have some decisions w/in the next month or two - in plenty of time for next season.

i know staggered setup make the ride look good, but does it make sense also to get all 4 rims on same measurement so you can do the rotation from front to back and vice versa every few thousand miles? this is what i'm torn on. help me decide guys and gals.
