Question Widest Wheels?

What is the widest wheels without modifacation anyone has put on the back of thier gs300, also what was the offset and type of rim. Thanks

10 is the widest i have seen

You can fit a 10" wide +48 - +50 offset with 295 tire on the back.
You can also do 10.5" with the same offset but you may have to drop the tire size down to 275 to avoid rubbing.

I'm running Carlsson 19X10, Michelin Pilot 295/35/19 in my rears.

This is on a 98 and above GS? Won't the tire look too rounded (the sidewall that is)? And what would be the % height - 35 or 30 ?

10" rims are perfect for 295's. I was talking about 295/30/20. I used to run 285/35/18 on my 9.5" rim and they were not stretched at all.

Default Depends on the tire too..

Some tires run wider than other tires because some have an extra lip gaurd, like the S03's. My friends running a 275-30-20 on his 5 Series bimmer and it fits his 20x10" perfectly, sits nice and flush.

My wheel on the other hand is the same size and I put a 285-30-20...in this pic you can see how much the actual lip gaurd protrudes from the lip...



S03's generally run wider than most other tires beause of the lip gaurd...I don't mind it at all..
