No, those ads are by WTW/Giovanna. They are not owned by Giovanna unless they have some secret deal and EVERYONE I've talked to on BOTH sides of the pond (Japan and here) say NO.

WTW is just one importer. They worked out a deal with Evolution when Evolution THOUGHT Giovanna was "pimp"...then they found out that they were just GHETTO....

And Giovanna does not MAKE ANY wheel. They get them all made for them. The APP wheel they relabeled is OLD. It's been out for a while now but no one knows who APP is...(APP makes Carlsson's new 1/16 wheel too)

I just read an article on Giovanna's Porsche...basically, they said it was nothing but so-so looks and not well sorted out...basically they don't know what they're doing...of course, that was a Porsche tuning magazine, what would they know about Porsche's?

What I would expect from Giovanna...nothing less and definitely nothing more...

I love how Giovanna trys to take the credit for stuff they haven't created...AutoCouture, APP, etc...a TRUE faker/poseur/knock-off company...

Giovanna does not own Auto Couture, nor do they own the trademark. They used to import them, but I'm not sure about now. Remember, those ads you guys see in magazines are placed about 6 months or so in advance (even longer if they sign a 1 year deal for a 12-time rate).

At any rate, Auto Couture product is all made in Japan, it is not sold as Giovanna product. It is not designed or built by Giovanna in any way. The magazine ads and stories in the magazines are totally misleading, they have tried to take advantage of the fact that our friends from across the pond don't understand or read english that well.

Because they (evolution) don't have any representatives here in the states, Giovanna feels that they can do anything they want in promoting or selling the line in any way they see fit. However, it appears that they have got it all wrong.

the circle around the text is the only thing photoshopped, its an ad in the Dupont Registry sept. issue, look if you dont believe, and besides the Giovanna Porsche they now have a Ferrari with those same rims

he is right, the ad is not photoshopped. That is exactly how it is printed.

Giovanna bought the rights to the GF1 wheel from APP.
