What were your likes and dislikes about the T1R? What do you want your new set of tires to do for you? What sizes are you running? Budget?

I liked the rounded side wall of the tire. However the T1r's were a bit noisy. I just drive around town, and gentle. I was looking for something that has the same roundness sidewall as the T1R but quiter.

245/35/20 and 275/30/20

I am running Yokohama S.drives in the same size you posted and am pretty happy with them. The tires I am interested in are Nitto Invo, Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta. The other one that has just gotten on my radar is the Hankook Ventus V12 EVO since I have seen nothing but great reviews and the price is right.

Go with Bridgestone Serenity's. They are very quiet, rode well and are good handling.

I'm coming in a little late with my input but if your need an all season tire (I see you are in Washington) I would look at the new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. This model uses "TRIFusion" rubber which is comprised of three different compounds bonded together for great all-weather performance. As you probably know, Michelin tires are very comfortable and quiet.

If you want to run a summer performance tire (wet/dry only) I would look at the Falken FK452. Falken (Sumitomos sister Co) created the FK452 for the VIP enthusiast. I've personally tested these tires and they not only ride well but are extremely predictable and evacuate water well.
