I am looking for 18" wheels to go on my '92 SC400. I like the simple open-air look like the current Corvette's. Something like 8-9" wide. I don't need super-bada$$ racing wheels, so don't go ape when I say what I want to spend. I'd like to spend at most $300/wheel. I know you wheel enthusiasts are cringing. I can't justify spending any more than that on such and old, high mileage car. But I want to do something, the factory wheels are corroding. Any general brand recommendations or specific model recommendations are greatly appreciated. Pictures are appreciated, too. Thanks, guys.
Also looking for chrome or anthracite. There seems to be a lot of Corvette replica wheels out there. Are these wheels total crap? Are any of them decent?
most replica wheels are crap...for $300, you can find some decent 18" one piece wheels...dunno about chrome though...that usually add an extra $100/wheel...
