i am not a fan of the wheel itself, especially the 1 piece. the heritage 3 is better, but still for wheels on vip cars, i want some with more lip action.

personally i don't like the trend of jdm vip wheels going back to 1 piece or no lip, that doesn't suit the car at all imho.

and to the black polish finish, initially i thought it's pretty interesting, and A LOT OF jdm wheels have that now (riverside, jp, lowenhart, etc...), but the more i see the more i don't like about it. i still like the traditional diamond cut / silver polish look more (again, for vip cars). it's more elegant. the black polish idea, from what my friend said, is more into the dub society.

Yea. The black rim polished lip use to be the ish. Now it's so played out that I've reverting back to the good ol silver/brushed aluminum look.

I really like the Heritage, its a nice Mono block piece.
It gives it the classy look if done right, IMHO.

I've read that 3 piece wheels are actually old technology and 1 piece forged wheels are more structurally sound.

i wasn't talking about integrity or strength. there are so many variables in that, it's totally out of the scoop. i was just purely going from a style point of view. 3 piece has definitely been here for long, 1 piece are new to the vip market

yep agreed, black wheels are so played out, and 99% of the time you cant even see the design of the wheel.. its just........black. i'd prefer silver/polished.. or even some clean chrome wheels.

actually i think we are talking about black polish wheels, not black wheels. they are different. on jdm wheels they refer to wheel designs where only the front face of the wheels are silver polished, but the sides of the spokes and also the outside trim (not the rivets) are painted glossy black. it's a new style in recent years
