Default 93 LS400 fitment question for you Tire Rack fellas

I'm putting some Player 717 18x7.5 +40 on a set of 235/45/18 (the book / tire rack.com recommended size to equal my current OEM of 225/60/16).....

This should go smoothly, correct? Or will I need some sort of adapter/spacer??

If you could answer this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Not the right size for LS400......wheel width is too narrow, offset is too high.
And what kind of wheels called "PLAYER?" BLING BLING again?

The size chart states my car is a HIGH offset car, and the recommended tire size is 235/45/18 to equal what my OEM on my car now is. The rim on my car now is 7.5 wide....how do you say this won't fit? Are you sure?

And player is a deep dish style rim...bling bling? Ehh..if you say so. I just like them, and I'm not into all these rice racer type rims the majority goo over here on CL.
