98-04 GS on 22's

I guess its all a matter of preference, but the vast majority of us here on CL would advise against anything bigger than 20's on our GS. Not just for visual reasons, but I think also for wear on the stock suspension parts, etc.

22's looks just silly on a gs..Even 21's have been posted before and they looked silly....Just stick with 20's you where have so many options in tires sizes and different styles of wheels.

dz,
There have been many threads on CL about this topc and pretty much 99% feedback is "it will look bad" and "it will be bad for the car (suspension, rubbing, turning issues)". However there are a couple of folks that like that look and several that will tell you (like me) if you like it do it... but be very aware of the issues you may encounter and the general consensus of folks on this forum that it looks pretty bad. If you want attention, you'll get it... but at a cost of losing the Lexus ride and damaging your suspension..

im not even going to front i wanted 22"'s at one point when i first first first got my GS but i always like the feel of a lowerd car and the look as well. what really change my mind (besides been a CL member for over a year and 1/2) about 22's is when i was rolling in my friends 03 acura 3.2 tl, dam the ride was ruff as hell and his car looked kinda funny sitting up that high. but i didn't mention it to him because he was around here bragging about how he fit 22's on his whip and besides girls were on his 8===> like crazy so who m i to burst his bubble
