Thanks J Rok, I'll get them mounted soon I hope...Iforged didn't send me any lug bolts so I am still waiting for them.

Nice finish - brushed aluminum w/ polished lip looks great!

Why do you insist on hub centric? Any potential issues with centering rings?

It's just a personal preference really, since iforged are custom build wheels I wanted it to be custom fit down to the hub. Not that anything is wrong with center rings, but I just prefer metal on metal instead of plastic support rings.

Nice finish on the wheels.. They look like a low maintance wheel which is good.... When are you going to mount them?

Yeah the wheels will be a lot easier to keep clean without the rivits. Iforged screwed up and didn't send me the lug bolts so I can't mount them until they send it. They also screwed up another thing that's not so easily fixed, but I will wait until Derrick gets back to me before I complain.

Question 17" wheels

I pm'ed Derrick once about getting 17" Iforged with the hubcentic fitment.
But I never heard back from him.
I got the idea from Chuck B.
Seems to me with 17" wheels they would be alot lighter than the stock. And therefore quicker.
And even thou the larger size wheels like cool I think you would lose a little bit of acceleration due to mass inertia.

Glad to see that you can actually do this with Iforged.
I sure wish I could see where they had their quality control and customer service straightened out.

What was your reasons for going 17"?

Hey Ivan, I have no idea why you didnt get my response, I know we went back and forth about a few things (if I remember you and your wife have GS's silver and gold, correct?) Not sure where the disconnect came in.

Shoot me a EMAIL , and we can go over your questions.

I had weighted the wheels already and the Techniks are 2 lbs lighter than stock, same 17x8, for the front and weights the same as stock (17x10 compares to stock 17x8.)
Lighter wheels does offer better braking and acceleration, provided they are the same size, so I do expect better braking from the new wheels and possibly better acceleration due to better traction.

Speaking of quality control...Iforged still have problems there. They messed up some specs on my wheel and they didn't send me lug bolts even though I paid for it.

Going with 17" just makes sense to me as I am putting this on my work car so I want a modest look and not too flashy , I wanted a wider look over my stock 17s. And going with 10" wide rears sure looks a lot better than an 8"
