Yup those are my specs and no rubbing. Because of the square sidewall design of the Nitto 555, I had to dial in some negative camber though. Nothing too major

that's even after shaving the tab? or you didn't shave and just adjust the negative camber?

Exactly, no mods at all front or rear.

Its amazing, the Nitto 555 is VERY durable. I had the rear drivers side wheel off the car at the end of the summer, and it had no inner wear!! I only drive the car 1-2 a week, but normally those are 3-400 mile roadtrips to the city. No wear!

Why not go with a 255/35?That will stretch the tire a lil' and make the lips look bigger plus the whole VIP thing?

The VIP stretch look is not just a function of tires, its REALLY a funtion of offset and width. The tires/ camber / rolling etc are all just the effects of low offset and width. So if you were to take a wheel with a offset for a 275 tire and put it on a 255 tire it wouldnt look right (too inset).

I have driven for 3-4 hours in the rain with a mix of city and highway, never a issue. For what its worth, I dont drive like a madman in the rain either! LOL

Me either. It's been raining here in NorCal off and on for the last month and the 555s seem to hold up OK. Like D, I drive differently in rain and sunny conditions.

Like D2 said, I have a +48 offset, rather conservative compared to other GS's on here.. With a stretched tire look, my wheels will really look too inset..

thanks for the input guys.

LOL. When i had my S-03's, i could take a ramp going 60mph no problem. yes yes, i know, kinda fast, but with my 555's, Im scared as hell.

in the rain with the S-03 i would go roughly 50mph, but i'm still scared with the 555's.

i guess you can say i loved the s-03's....

it's probably just me.... im an isolated incident....
