Can you guys tell me about HRE 545 (3 piece 5 spoke wheels)?

Are they any good?

How do you'all think they will look on a Black GS?

The wheels I am talking about are used and need soem repair, is this something I should pursue further or not?

If a wheels was bent and is professionally repaired, is it still strong or has its strength/quality now been permanently compromised?

I am getting a set of HRE 547's for my GS4 with the polished center. Although mine is white, I think the polished finish should look very good for a black GS. The polished finish is what they show on the HRE web site. It does cost more per wheel, however.

As for quality, it seems that everyone I talk to all agree HRE are of very high quality, the elite among wheels. Of course, you also pay an exorbitant price for showing them off.

 

Why don't you give HRE a call and see what they say? The outer lip costs yah $190 with $45 labor if they do the repair.
