Default HELP shipping questions.

wat is the best way to ship rims and tires?

i have a set of 4 stock GS rims and tires and i need to ship them to hawaii.

did anybody ship tires overseas?
wat company did u use?
did u put all the rims and tires in 1 box or multiple boxes?

any input will help.

gonna be expensive to ship to HI. Basically I just get large boxes and cut them into circles to cover the rims so it doesn't scratch. Use 2 per wheel. Take some ductape and tape around.

You can also call a freight company and they can palletize it without packaging it. Either way it is expensive.

Put the rims in individual boxes. With any parcel service, the weight is the most important factor because of the liability to its employees. With this being said, I would probably pick up some 20x20x10 boxes and ship 'em out that way. Don't pallet them unless you have other things going out.
Trust, this is the best way... I've sent many sets of wheels out as my wife used to change wheels on her show car like shoes!

This is like the cheapest way. I would do it this way if you don't want to spend so much.

What about Hawaiian Exchange? They have a location at LVMS. Best option in my opinion.
