I bought this hard drive from ebay (it's brand new and still in it's static bag!) and I can't use this hard drive in my comp so I need to sell it to buy a hard drive compatible with my comp.

It's a SCSI Quantum Atlas 10k II, 36.7 gig, 10,000 RPM, 8 meg buffer, 4.7ms Hard Drive. Ultra160!!! This is a SCSI 80-pin! This retails for something around $450, if you check pricewatch, the cheapest your going to find it is $440, buy.com is $430. All these prices are WITHOUT shipping.

I'm trying to sell it for $320 WITH shipping paid. That's about a 140$ savings for a brand new drive!

Just to give you an idea of how fast these drives are, here's a comparison. A brand new, 80 gig, ultraATA 100 takes 9.6 ms to access data, can transfer data a max of 26 megs per second while sucking up 10% of processing power. This SCSI Ultra160 has 4.7ms of time to access of data, can transfer data up to 42 megs per second and at max takes about 1-2% of processing power. These are GREAT for computers that are for graphics, web serving, music, basically anything that uses large file sizes.

If your interested, I set up a little page @
