Those shift ***** are originally from the Japanese truck scene, but many other modification styles have adopted it. I haven't noticed a strong usage of them in the VIP crowd, but they're popular in the drifting scene.

i'm back living in japan again and i'm noticing a lot of similarities in the vip style as the drifting style... zip ties is definitely one of the top ranking ones
@VossenMike: should have hooked it up with a set of those wheels man, i'd be repping vossen in a completely new market for you all right now...
the young japanese crowd seems to be all about the light weight concaved thin spoked wheels,, those are the most popular in okinawa right now.

As mentioned above, I've seen those in more drift cars than the VIP. I envy you Sojah hopefully I can finish my Japanese language courses and visit Japan some day. This Kanji and Kana is killing me though!

Crystal bubble ***** are available at truck shops in Japan for good prices I think it went from bozo to dori to VIP they are cool I like them very much, go for it makes your driving Abit easier to shift.
I have a question for the VIP saloon cars here in CL
Can a sc300 be VIP I've seen some on google image but seems sc430 has more of a look for
It, i think the front grill helps it accomplish that.
Whenever you see a VIP inspire sc do you see it as that or do you see it as a clean car but not VIP
Because of the 2 missing doors.? Thank you for the feedback and advice.

@mike that video is sick,, badass production value and the tune is very tight and fitting too, props to whoever put it all together.
i still think you should have hooked it up with a set of vossens though
want to do anything with a grs182 toyota crown
i've been waiting for a few months to get my wheels back from vip modular but am presently on stocks with a nice crown (air susp and body kit, + lots more than my old LS430))
i will be at the osaka auto show next weekend do you guys have anybody there? but i live 1000 miles south on a small tropical island (okinawa), just in tokyo on business this week, you know how it is...
