when i unplug the abs sensors in the rear before i take out the rear suspension, do i plug them back in once the coilovers are in place or do i leave them unplugged? and kevin and i are wondering, what is the reason for unplugging the sensors in the front and rear?

you don't need to, you can do the back without cracking the ball joint so you can leave it connected, just make sure not to damage it at all.
the fronts you need to disconnect them because you'll be popping the front ball joint to drop the spindle down to get the shock assy. in and out....

yeah i recall you don't have to undo the rear abs sensors. just the fronts. if you try doing the front suspension without unplugging the sensors it will over stretch the wire and break the contact.
