It's called survival of a company....either offer different items with their logo and make sales to cover expenses, or go out of business because not many are spending thousands on their kits...
Or waterdown your brand so much that it's worthless in a short period of time. The outcome is inevitably the same.
On the other hand they could bring their parts inline with competitors pricing and/or innovate and survive.
