I wouldn't recommend a 225 on a 9" rim,but then,I'm not a fan of stretch. I put big wheels on cars to gain grip. If I was going to only need a 225,I'd fit an 8.5" wheel.
If you're having clearance issues with the 245's,maybe consider going to a 235/35,or a 245/30.
So now that you guys can see the frnder work done what size tires do you think I should go with up front? The current size is 245/35/20.
your car looks great.. but some people dont understand where you goin with this build you are sure to be in a high VIP class when youre done with your build.. Great job and quality parts
225/35 or 235/30 would both look good
Well the exterior is done. The painter is doing the polishing this weekend and I get to see the finished product on Monday. Then we have less than a week to do everything else if it is going to be ready to ship to SEMA. Its gonna be very close.
Update 10/18... The car is 90% done with paint and body. After that the first order of business is to get the stance right up front. In spite of all the hard work done on the car it does not look like it will be ready for SEMA. Sorry guys... But there is always next year. Anyway on with the pics!
