manifolds and basically pre-plumbed valves that don't need as much space and makes wiring very easy

Valves or manifolds are not a huge space difference. It matters who installs it that strips out the trunk and finds the tiniest corners to mount things in.
I have my 5 gallon tank , easy street ecu 2 manifolds and compressor in my trunk . All with enough space to still have a JL audio 10W7 HO box ( If you have seen one it is huge ) Plus have tons of usable room to have a cargo bag holding my detailing supplies , the other half of it with tools. Plus the other side of my trunk has 9 HID kits and a suitcase of LED's . Add some booster cables , flexible air hose , umbrella and so on and can still fit 2 carry on suitcases without removing anything .
You also can't see any of my install .

Pics from me?
I have none as you can't see anything , and sorry I am not going to strip my trunk to take pics .

A manifold puts all the valves together in one piece like the above pic shows . Instead of a long string of valves connected together , it is all in one spot less likely to leak .

a manifold is a way of mounting multiple valves vs. linking them together with fittings.

a f/b manifold setup is 4 valves (2 lift/2dump) pre-mounted a solid block, a f/b/s/s is 8 (4 lift/4dump).

you don't need 1/4 inch traps. get the 3/8's and just buy a 3/8>1/4 adapter
