I wanted something different than a lipped wheel which are all over the place. Sorta' "been there, done that". The vents are from an SL and the hood vents are from an ML.

like the car, buttt those side vents just dont look good to me (not that it matters). They look like autozone stick-ons... other than that the car is sickk!!

not a fan of the wheels personally, but to each their own. i ****in HATE the f50. period.

on a side note, stop justifying the ****. if you're doing what you want to do then it speaks for itself. the stuff you are saying, or rather HOW you're saying it, comes off bitter (imo). if you were doing what you thought people wanted you to do then you can only be mad at yourself. no one forced you to do anything and it's not some great revolutionary act to quit now.

Uhhhh...it's a Y34, not an F50....

There's only one who sounds bitter....and it's not me....

I'm just tired of the so called VIP experts who try to come off like it's their way or the highway. I spent many years building cars based on what my sponsors wanted.....not necessarily what I wanted.

I advocate for people to do their own thing since it's their car.....not what someone else tells you.....that's all.

i was talking about the cima from japan that has the gtr wheels (i love y34s AND f50s in general).

i completely dig what you're saying about doing your own thing, it's just the way you said it (over and over) that struck a nerve. like you are talking down to those who are playing by the "rules". lord knows i have no reason to be bitter in that regard. anyways, no hard feelings. just speaking my mind.

Notice I never claimed it was VIP, VIP inspired, VIP themed.....VIP anything. Yes it's in the VIP forum, but it's a Nissan, so it doesn't fit into any othe sub-forums here. I always tell people to mod their cars the way they want to...it's your money, it's your car. I'm enjoying my car for the first time....
words well spoken. I have always been a fan of your car for years Mark

Too bad you don't have the JP kit on the car still...it would look really good! I prefer concave wheels over lipped wheels...if you don't get the lip just perfect, you'll never be happy with it, and if you don't get the fitment just right, it'll look whack. You don't get those issues with a concave wheel...need a bit more 'flushness' push it out with a spacer, GTG, it won't look like a weak lipped wheel that has a giant spacer on it.

Those wheels probably cost you a grip though...
