Thomas, the kit is a replica. I know you and many others are against it but it's just not smart to me to buy a $4000 kit to scrape daily. And ask anyone who has seen my car, I drive it very low. You can see scrapes and cracks in the picture. It has held up surprisingly well. I've ordered some Junction Produce fog lamps for the bumper and I will install them when I get the bumper repaired.
There are many reasons why I went with a replica instead of the real thing and it isn't just a money issue. If anyone would like to know, they can PM me. I did not ask Jerry to post these pictures, or ask him to label it as a JP car. He posted simply to show off his photography skills. I never said it was a JP kit, and I never said it wasn't. It is what it is whether you like it or not.
It's funny when people say they like my car all the time then hate it after they hear the kit is a replica. It's still the same car you've always liked.

i like the car whether "real" or not. it's about execution. i think it turned out great. i appreciate all the work and patience put into customizing a car. your car is a sign of your dedication to the modding cars and you got my respect.
what i don't like is this thread title. faking the funk is a sign of shame.
