i guess its a personal thing when it gets to the grey areas! i think that pimprascals car when it was black could be VIP cause its real low on air and quite aggressive on the rims but then it is fairly simple like an EXE car, just since its dropped it adds aggression.

exe i think is more like:

like they keep a reasonable height on coilovers and either have no kit or mild kit.

i do think the fitment has a lot to do with it though, cause if you're VIP you generally need large/wide wheels to fill the guards right out esp if theyre flared/built out and you also normally run a fair bit of camber. whereas exe cars tend to be less aggressive so they dont run quite so much camber and dont run flared gaurds etc.

I was going to post that too muhbuhtuh but it didn't really have anything solid on EXE vs VIP. Its just a bunch of "VIP" cars

i think i have to agree with ant. from previous threads ive seen it seems that most exe cars are running on coilovers or springs with a slight drop. definitely not the tucked look.. doesnt necessarily need to be full faced wheels but a lot of them run those.

there is a very subtle line and it could cause a big arguement between different opinions because there is no true line but vip is more of an aggressive look lower stance, more aggressive fitment.

hope your question has been somewhat answered

This is a tough subject. If you ask some of the hardcore guys, they will say most of the cars we call "VIP" here in the states, are really "EXE." Don't get caught up with names. At the end, we all are in here because we love Lowered Japanese luxury sedans

I say build what you like. If your build is going to be called "EXE" but its what YOU like, then do it.
