Me no likey. The only two tone I like would be the factory two tone paint job on the 1GS. But it would be interesting to see if this trend would catch onto the vip scene in the states.

Like everyone else... I'm not a fan of this style. I think it's an obvious convergence of the Dub and Donk styles along with VIP. The more traditional style we all enjoy will prevail, I think the people building these cars are a little bored with doing the same old thing and just trying something new.... Hopefully it's just a phase LOL

It actually did not come from the Dub style. It came from the Germans. Look up Carlsson Aigner ($500,000 w221 Sclass). Anything the Germans do is automatically accepted in the VIP community.
From there, the Japanese added their own twist to it by changing the colors, etc. Thats how trends start. One idea will spark a new one. Sometimes that one good idea will spark a bunch of bad ones or something it will spark a great one.

Two-tone can look great when done right (did this years ago on my GS).
