Unhappy Lexus App not working

First time Lexus owner with a 2021 UX 250h. Noticed that the app does not update the data from the car nor do I get any notifications like the doors are unlocked. It seems it started when they updated the app 3 weeks ago.

Anybody else have this issues? I guess not much one can do other than wait for a fix?

Thanks

I've had this issue before, turns out I had to reflash my ECM at the dealership (free). Along with uninstalling the Lexus Remote app, then reinstalling it. No issues since.

Cool thanks. Tried the app reinstall by itself but no luck. Issued a request on Lexus site but no response yet. Will probably wait until next service to have them look at it.

lexus_feedback@lexus.ca eventually responded with questions and a case #. I responded back to them noting that the 2nd DCM Icon on the screen was crossed out. Haven't heard back from them since.

Yesterday had my windows tinted at a local shop. As I started the car and took off the radio was going all funny and a message popped up to check the notification on my screen or something like that. Once I got going on the road I noticed the check engine light and a message that there was an issue and to check with the dealer. Pulled over shut it down and restarted. Same error message. Being just a few minutes from home I drove off and it seemed to go just fine.

At home I noticed that the DCM icon is not crossed out anymore. Checked the app and it's getting info from the car again. Read the error code out and came up with a C1241 Low battery positive voltage. Cleared the code and everything seems to be back to normal.

Wonder if the guy tinting the windows with all the doors open for over 2 hours caused this low voltage issue? Maybe even had it on accessory power or even left it on, but then the engine would have to kick on periodically. Mileage indication took a hit and average speed went from 51 km to 40 km.

What do you guys think? Could the doors open for extended time caused this low voltage?

Honestly, I had that issue once too when I had my windows re-tinted. All you have to do is go to your local Autozone and have them clear that code and it'll be good to go. Nothing to worry about.

FYI. - them clearing the code is cost -free, no charge. I did it myself since I have a OBII reader/clearer at home.

Thanks for sharing that you had a similar experience. I erased the code with my own scanner as well and no issues today driving to and from work.
