UX refresh imminent?
Since the current ES which came out in 2019 is going to receive a refresh for 2022 what are the chances that the UX which also came out in 2019 will receive one as well?
I really want to get a UX and I was planning on custom ordering a fully loaded F-Sport or Luxury but if it's about to be refreshed I might wait.
The local dealerships I have talked to told me there is no refresh planned for next year but obviously they have ulterior motives and want to sell a car now.
Does anyone have any additional insights into the chances of a refresh for next year?

Basically my fear is that they might add the missing features to the UX on the refresh much like they did with the NX and IS.
I don't know if you are in a rush or need a car ASAP. If that's not the case, I would wait a month or two until the 2022 UX is announced. That way, if the 2022 has the new features you want, buy that one. If the 2022 doesn't bring the features you want, then you can get a better deal on the 2021's as dealers will want to clear them from their lots. If you are trying to custom order, then I don't think you could get a deal, but at least you could order a 2022 so it will be a year newer (better for resale/trade-in value later, if you plan on selling/trading down the road).
While I personally prefer touchscreen, I do not like how they look in most new Lexus models. They just move it closer to the driver, without integrating it into the dash so it sticks out. However, every single Lexus review ever made bashes the Lexus infotainment systems, so owning the model year before the touchscreen comes out may affect resale value down the road (again, if you plan on selling/trading).

You can forget about the ML system. Lexus won't equip them on their low end vehicles inbound to the US. The CT never had the ML option in the States but had them oversea during it's lifecycle. AVS won't be an option as well. Pretty much, the USDM UX is very basic as far as having the goodies.
I think Lexus announced 22 new/updated models for this year. You may want to keep an ear out.
