LOL - he ordered the wrong ones. Apparently they are slightly different depending on the model - Base, Sport, Luxury. Apparently they didn't ask for the VIN #, which would have prevented the problem.

Contacting the company to see if it can be exchanged.

To make a long story short - I had to order the sills directly from Lexus. As the back doors aren't illuminated, I only ordered sills for the front doors.
They cost me $299 installed at my dealership and they look great . I'm very pleased.

Edit - I was just looking at the picture of the rear sills and I see that they have a small chrome strip on them. Not a biggie for me as I rarely use the back seats.

Can't speak about non OEM, but the branded ones came with the connector brackets included, so no need to splice wires, which was a concern of mine. My biggest issue with the lights is they are constantly on, along with the floor mat lights.

If you have a specific questions, please ask.

where are the connections for the driver & passenger side located?
Isn't there any way to connect them to the dome light so they only operate when the door is opened?

I'm sure this is possible. You would need to trace the line for the dome light and tap into it.

I located these instructions but it's not plug and play as I hoped for, so my mechanic (former Lexus master tech) offered to install it for $200.

Do you have illuminated sills installed? Was wondering if they are blue if you bought it with the car installed from the factory. The reason is we have a NX that has illuminated door sills and it's white instead of blue. Thanks

My UX door sills did not come illuminated from factory. I purchased OEM ones and installed them, took about 30 minutes.
