Hello.. I had my windshield replaced because I had a pretty good crack. After the replacement, I had a ton of whistling and wind noise. They reinstalled it twice and I’m still hearing some whistling. I’m wondering if they put the trim back on correctly. It looks kind of odd to me, but it may be totally normal. Does anyone else’s look like this? I’d like to see what other’s trim looks like if possible.
Thanks!
“They” were Safelite and yeah.. it just looks strange to me. I can’t remember what it looked like before though. I had their regional manager look at it and he said that’s how it is supposed to be. I live a little ways from a dealership, so it’s just hard to swing by and look at another UX.

Where is this? can you zoom out? i can take a pic of mine in the morning.
Safelite also doesn't use OEM glass (most shops use the main 3-4 that are rebranded), they use "equivalent" which is BS in my book. My fiancee used them in the past and their overall fit/finish was not good and were much more susceptible to rock chips and pitting. We had a brand new crack (she doesn't drive close to vehicles or anywhere with much rock chips out of the ordinary) within a month after replacing it on her prior vehicle.
Never again, OEM or nothing for us when it comes to glass. I think OEM glass nowadays come from the following manufacturers: Saint-Gobain Sekurit (SGS), Carlite, Pilkington, PPG, Mopar, and AP Tech.
Edit: I'll be happy to take a pic for you as well, if you can zoom out a little for us to reference.
