Didn’t bother test driving
Checked out new UX in the dealer. Read so much negative reviews about the lack of power. Being a CT driver, not interested in power and expected the packaging and finish of the car would excite.
Well, no.
The interior looks great in videos and is well designed but the plastics are all scratchy and cheap feeling. CT interior feels much higher quality.
The boot space height is less than the CT as the hybrid battery sits in the cargo floor. This not only compromises boot height but no spare. The car runs the horrible and expensive run flats that even BMW gave up on years ago.
In Australia, fully loaded it comes in at almost $60,000US and no much hyped Apple CarPlay! Why?
My son, a Lexus fanboy wasn’t impressed. Preferred us to stick to our trusty CT for now.

i think it could be alot worse. is it kinda cheap and anemic feeling? yeah a little. but its fairly engaging to drive and it looks cool. i think it blows the CT away!
