Arrow UX Configurator

Just received this email from Lexus. No pricing yet but looks like the option choices are decent if this info is solid.

Got an email from Lexus for that link. It didn't mentioned triple beam LED headlights anywhere either in package or individual option.

The triple beams (with washers) are listed as an option for the UX 200 and not for the F-Sport that has power folding heated outside mirrors with reverse tilt however, the "fine print" says (additional options may be available - exact configurations may not be available - vehicle information subject to change prior to on sale date). Confusing and basic for sure, once the Lexus site goes live with pricing, the packages and stand-alone options will be more clear. So Lexus, if you're listening, please don't be a d*ck tease because MY fine print says the decision to get into another Lexus is also subject to change based on the options available.

Although they list that there may be other options, I fear Lexus screwed the pooch on the US version of the UX. Why? It's likely that dealers are concerned that they cannot move fully loaded versions; marketing missed the mark and disregarded empty nesters, and those who prefer smaller, but heavily optioned vehicles; Lexus US fears of the UX cutting into other model sales.

I personally love my RX. My wife has been waiting for the ux and we went to the dealer to see and test drive the ux250h. She still likes the exterior and interior looks but not sure the packaging. A $39k ux250h has no memory seat, no auto-dimming outside mirrors, no navigation, no real leather, and hard scratchy plastic door panels. this really makes wonder how they are going to sell these without heavy incentives considering a better-equipped RX350 out the door at around $45k but you get so much more car with the rx.
