Loud engine

I have a 2021 Lexus UX 250 H. I find the engine loud and revvy when it’s out of hybrid mode. Is this normal? Also, when parked and in engine mode, the car bounces slightly when I shift from Park to Drive. Also normal?

How do you get this out of hybrid mode? Do you mean when it's charging the hybrid battery?? If so, yes, my gs450h is also loud when hybrid battery is low
