Default pricing?

Hi, looking to get a new TX550h+ plug in hybrid. Anyone getting new vehicles under MSRP these days?

I hit up every dealer within 200+ miles of me with a TX550h. No one would deal on that trim. Even the supposed MSRP dealers had addons like $499 "ceramic coat" that they couldn't remove. It's a unicorn and priced accordingly.

I doubt it. It’s a low allocation and volume vehicle in demand.

Ours is a year old and no deal other than an additional 240v charger for no cost which I understand now comes with it. When we got ours we it only came with the 110 charger so now we have a charger we take with us on our state road trips etc.

We did luck out in that there were no markups we were forced to take like others did it and it was exactly as we ordered it.

The 500h+ is impossible to find. Even the 500h Luxury is difficult to find with color options I want so I ended up buying a 500h Premium. Honestly, its just fine. I don't care about the panoramic sunroof but I did want the Head-Up display. Oh well not that big a deal. The BIG negative on the 500h Luxury are the weird steering wheel controls. Why did they do that? I much prefer the controls on the Premium. In addition, you can definitely price shop the Premium. I got $5,000 of MSRP which is decent but if you're willing to be more flexible than me on color you can get up to around $7,000 off.

When I was looking in Nov 2025, I had the same result. I was looking at the luxury trim but settled with the Premium trim. Missed the heads up found in my NX but didn't care about the pano sunroof. I could have gotten $5000 off from another dealer but my wife insisted she wanted another color than silver since we already have 2 silver vehicles. We got $4500 off at another dealer. Luxury trim is still hard to come by.

We to go with the the beige interior and it's really nice,
