Loud knocking sound on turns
I follow all of the service recommendations for my 2024 TX 500h. Last was the 65,000 service at 63,000 miles when I got the car inspected.
Two weeks later I began to hear a knocking noise on left turns. It sounded at first like it was an engine knock but it was not affecting the engine performance. I took it in and they diagnosed it as the rear rack and pinion. Luckily I have an extended warranty to 120,000 miles. It took two weeks to get approvals from Lexus - it was over the holidays. Then it took two more weeks to get the parts and complete the repair. It was fully covered and white there where no prices on the invoice the dealer said it was in the five figures.
I got it back and heard the same knocking noise as before. I immediately called the dealer and will be bringing it back next week.
Anyone else having a similar issue? I suspect it's something that hapopens on high milage TX's.

UPDATE -- There is a service notice for the front axle on the TX. Not sure if it is only the TX 500h or all TX's. It is getting replaced.
Anyone else have a high milage (>60,000) TX with similar issues?
Update: Picked this up from dealer after axel replacement -- most of the sound is gone but will monitor. At this point considering trading it in or holding until warranty expires -- 2 years/60,000 miles left on extended warranty.
