Default Shifter **** clicks

Does anyone with the TX experience a click when shifting to Drive?

I didn't notice the click when shifting to Reverse.

Haven't noticed it, but I will pay further attention to it now that you mentioned it. I haven't put many miles on mine yet.

I'll bring it up during another visit to dealer. I have only 200+ miles on mines since I just purchased it in Nov.

Did not notice it this morning. I intentionally listened. Even did it twice.

My TX has been at dealer for 1 week already. They found it's not the shifter **** but the shifter box that's clicking (or lock not releasing correctly). Waiting for the parts department to order a replacement part.

The service advisor stated that the issue appears on some TX vehicles but not all. I don't have that issue on my NX.

No part til later this month, pickup vehicle Friday and will go back another time.

Finally fixed yesterday, The floor shifter assembly (part # 33550-0E390) was replaced under warranty, the vehicle now drives smooth as a Lexus as expected.

Before, the vehicle would seem to not shift correctly when parked on small incline before as well besides making that clicking sound when shifting.

Anyways, it's fixed. Very happy driving it around thus far.

Maybe it would help people others.
