Third Row Seat Issue Resolved - For Now
I just got my 2024 TX 350 Luxury AWD back from the dealer today. I was having issues with the 3rd row seats having a hump in the floor when they were in the down position. The diagnosis was: "poor adhesion of plastic spacers to 3rd row seat backs." The resolution was: "replaced both 3rd row seat back assemblies." The service technician said that cost (presumably for parts) of each seat back assembly was $700. He also speculated that he would likely see a deluge of TXs come in with the same issue. My editorial: PLASTIC in a $70k Lexus?"
Note: I had my driver's seat replaced at 5,000 miles.

Sorry, I don't. The bump on the left-hand side was maybe an inch or so. At first, you could push the plastic piece back into place, but after a while, you could no longer push it down. It was visible to the naked eye. The right-hand side had also begun to degrade, but did not have a visible bump. The service manager looked underneath the carpet covering with a flashlight, and was able to immediately discern that both sided had become detached.
