So I’ve been reading everyone’s suggestions and am looking at the Peerless/SCC snow chains, but I couldn’t find my 255/45/22 tire size. I emailed them and they said they don’t make a product in that size. Has anyone with the 22 inch wheels found a snow cable/chain that fits.

You're gonna need to interpolate...

I marked these tire sizes for you using red dots, why, because both of these tire sizes Fit the ZT747 tire size. Both the 255/55-20 and the 255/65-18 are known OE sizes for the TX/Grand Highlander chassis. Both are 31" overall diameter tires, just like a 255/45-22 which isn't listed but is of course 31 inches in overall diameter too.

I grabbed a pair of AutoSocks. Could be another option if you’d like. I like them because they don’t risk damage to your car if cables become undone and take up significantly less space in the car. I have a pair, but admittedly haven’t had to use them yet. They are CA approved too.

Test fit the Peerless SCC Z-579 chains this weekend just in case we need them next week in the mountains. The install is fairly easy although you do need to drive the car a bit afterwards to ensure the chains are being property adjusted onto the tire - you can then tighten the cables as needed. I've put on a few chains in the past and would definitely rate this an easy versus medium or hard. Drove the car up and down our street only up to 15 MPH and there was no issues or rubbing - three point turn, etc. Adding a few photos below how they look as well as behind.
