Lexus TX
That said, I'm fairly disappointed in some of Lexus' design choices.
No caramel/saddle interior option, no wood trim option, only semi-aniline trimmed seats vs interior option, significantly fewer interior color options than every other Lexus SUV except the RZ, no cool box option, no wood trimmed steering wheel option, no massaging seats option, no acoustic glass option, and no triple beam headlight option.
Not all, or even most, of those matter to me, but they're glaring omissions from the options list, especially the interior colors and lack of wood.
Real wood is a Lexus tradition. The NX, RX, current GX, LX, IS, ES, and LS all offer real wood trims, as did all the legacy models. The only current vehicles that do not are the UX, RZ, TX and the new GX, and given what they are, I wouldn't expect the UX or RZ to have wood. Given that multiple models both below and above the TX and GX have real wood trim, that's a pretty glaring omission.
Same kinda thing with the lack of a caramel interior for the TX--it has the fewest interior color options by far of any vehicle in Lexus' lineup except for the RZ.
I would posit that the lack of real wood is 100% fine in a mass market brand like Toyota. In a luxury brand like Lexus, on the other hand, it's a bewildering choice given how prevalent it is throughout the rest of the model lineup above and below the TX and GX
It must have to do with the ramp up at the Indiana factory. Which is another issue in and of itself, seems like very little delineation between the Toyo GH and the TX.
Hopefully MY25 will have additional options

I happen to have a particularly bad local Lexus dealer and would be open to buying a car from elsewhere if I can find someone who will be up front with me about both timing and pricing.
Celebrating Lexus & Toyota from Around the Globe
I currently own Lexus ES350 2013 model and looking to buy soon to be released Lexus TX. Based on what I have gathered, the engine in TX 350 and 500h will be similar to that of RX350 and 500h. So I test drove both of the RX models and still struggling to make a decision.
RX500h - I certainly felt more power.
RX350 - was still noisy compared to my ES350.
It seemed the smoothness of RX350 was an incremental difference over RX500h.
Luxury, smooth ride will be important for me. But if RX or TX version of 350 doesn't emerge as a clear winner, I feel that I might as well go with TX500h as I would atleast be getting more power.
